Truffle Sauce Ravioli

On our trip to Italy we had dinner at this wonderful restaurant recommended to us by a friend and it did NOT disappoint. I would dream about having this dish at least once a week after we were back, and I knew I had to recreate it. Of Course when you're in Italy you have to do some shopping, and I definitely did my share of that. But one of the best purchases was from Nino and Friends and it was the Salsa Tartufata that makes this dish taste delicious! 


Ingredients:

1 bag of Rana’s 4 cheese ravioli (10oz.)
2 tbsp butter
½ cup heavy cream 
¼ cup parmesan 
½ tsp black pepper 
Salt to taste 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare ravioli as instructed on the package. 

  2. In a non-stick pan add butter and melt on medium low. 

  3. Once the butter melts, slowly whisk in heavy cream and cook for 3-5 mins. 

  4. Continue whisking and add in grated parmesan cheese. 

  5. When the parmesan has melted and the sauce has thickened to the right consistency, season with salt and black pepper. 

  6. Add in the boiled ravioli and mix. Enjoy!!
